Another busy weekend. After Friday night’s movie debacle, I worked all day Saturday and then celebrated the birthday (or name day, if you’re a Game of Thrones fan!) of a friend. The revelry occurred at a bar in Koreatown that makes for a pretty great restaurant, but maybe not the optimal hang-out bar. Food was great, prices were high for drinks ($9 for a pint of Stella?). Oh well, the quality of the people who were there for the majority of the night was good enough to make up for whatever dent the evening made in my wallet. Tonight after work I did some crazy cardio workout and then met up for drinks at the Blue Palms in Hollywood, which is still one of my favorite craft beer bars in town. The selection is always really good, even if the food menu isn’t treated with the same level of intense scrutiny and — dare I say it — similarly well-curated.
So, that was my weekend. What did you do?
