In 48 hours I’ll be airborne, flying east towards Newark Airport, set to embark on a lengthy trip that will take me from the East Coast of these United States all the way around the world to Delhi, India. To say I’m excited would be the understatement of the year. I’m really, really looking forward to this.

RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. Lots of new releases this week (Amen Dunes, Mikal Cronin, Teeth Of The Sea, James Blackshaw, Leyland Kirby, John Chantler, Psychic Ills) and some “filler,” even though nothing is ever FILLER on these tapes! The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
