Sometimes I miss the cold and snow. There’s a comfort to it. A different kind of comfort than sunny days and cloudless skies. The all-encompassing silence of a winter storm, the reflections of street lights in black ice, laying down with your feet pressed against the heating vents to keep warm. I thought when I lived back east I suffered from seasonal affective disorder. Now I wonder if there’s something equally disturbing about too many sunny days without change.
I apologize for my lack of posts lately. 2015 is supposed to be a year of reinvention. Hopefully that goes for both myself and this website. I’ll try to stay active – or at least more active than I have been – in the near future. I was hoping to have some exciting news by now, but… you know… life gets in the way of things sometimes.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. Of course there is a very subtle theme this week. Pretty obvious, isn’t it? The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
