Oh, friends. Another long week has come to an end. Exhausted, I’m sitting on my couch with a bottle of Zombie Dust I recently acquired in a trade with a beer connoisseur from the midwest. I’ve been really amping up my beer consumption of late, even going so far as to purchase the bulk of a guy’s cellar down in Orange County a few weeks ago. If you’re not already following me on Instagram you should, I’m posting A Beer A Day for the rest of 2015. I’ve been way more active on Instagram and Untapped than I am on this website these days. Now, that doesn’t mean I’ve given up on this venture, my focus has just momentarily shifted. I’m hoping to announce SL002 (Swan Fungus LP #2) soon. This one is a much bigger project than the Todd record so it has required more time, labor, and outside help than the last one. I think it will be worth it once the finished product is unveiled.
Also, Surf Nazis Must Die is on Netflix now, so I’m going to post this mix tape and put the laptop down so I can concentrate. I haven’t seen this movie in ages.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. Of course there is a very subtle theme this week. Pretty obvious, isn’t it? The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
