It’s been an eventful week. Last Sunday I ran a half-marathon. On Monday I got food poisoning. Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty much a blur (a vomit-y Spin Art blur!). Thursday I came back from the dead and was able to leave the house and eat a meal. On Friday I went back to work. Yesterday I slept for 11 hours. And today the Giants game sucked. Yup…it was an eventful week. Also, in between last Sunday and this Sunday I managed to watch 2 full seasons of “Oz,” which is awesome. I never watched it when it was on HBO (although my mom once claimed it was her favorite show). It’s amazing to see so many familiar faces, though. It really seems like everybody in that cast has gone on to play some amazing roles. Pretty much everyone who was on “The Wire” was on “Oz,” a bunch of people from “LOST,” “The Sopranos,” “Breaking Bad” and other stellar programs also make appearances. And don’t forget Luke Perry.

Another week is set to begin. This one, hopefully, will go a little easier. I’m not going to lie, I’m really excited to finish the 20-mile run that is scheduled for Saturday morning. From then until December 2nd, I just have to keep my body out of trouble and I’ll be ready to crush last year’s time. After the 20-miler the distances I have to run for the remaining 3 weeks decrease quite a bit. Which means I can sleep in a little later on Saturdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Sleep is good. Sleep is real good.

RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. If you can’t figure it out this week, you’re too slow to be reading this website. Either that our your mother and I have done a terrible job of raising you. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
