Boy did I get drunk last night. Bear Republic Big Bear Black Stout, you are no longer my friend, no matter how deliciously alcoholic you might be. There was a period of time when I found myself intermittently unconscious on a pillow-covered floor for one or two minutes at a time. I don’t remember stretches of conversation that occurred between myself and the person with whom I was hanging out, but I can always pretend my cognitions were fascinating and insightful. Now here’s the music!
RULES for uninitiated noobs: With 100MB of webspace, I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. There is no theme this week. Just enjoy the good tunes, which include new cuts from MV & EE, Scout Niblett, Yellow Swans, Black Dice and more! These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums. And really, there is no reason not to. Most of these can be purchased for anywhere between fifty cents and two dollars. Unless of course, you’re afraid somebody might find it in your collection.
