I’m going to make this quick. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. I hope Santa delivers whatever you want, as long as it’s a tangible object and not something like “world peace.” Which reminds me…When I was younger, I used to make lists of gifts I wanted for Chanukah each year, and my #1 top item was always “Dad stop smoking.” God, I was a lame kid.
This particular Mix Tape will only be available until Friday. There will not be a Mix Tape next Sunday (the 31st) because it’s New Years Eve and I won’t be around. Instead, I’m going to make one on Friday that will consist of tracks from my 50 favorite albums of 2006. It’ll probably go well over 100 MB, but consider it my holiday gift to you. Now, what are you going to do for me?
SUNDAY MIX TAPE RULES: For you noobs out there, I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I birth a new compilation for your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is pushing on you these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. This weeks theme is construction. All the song titles, band names or album titles are related to construction. Materials, tools, projects, jobs, locales…it’s all about building and dismantling and expansion in the physical and metaphysical realms. These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.
