SUNDAY MIX TAPE – VOLUME 22

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, softies and malcontents! I hope your holiday weekends are bringing unabashed joy and intoxication the likes of which you’ve never known (or at least haven’t seen since college). A few people I know are already making great strides towards killing every non-essential-for-life-processes cell in their bodies. Don’t let them pull too far ahead in this race to liver failure or arrhythmia–you can acheive similar glory. Close your eyes up real tight like a child expecting a surprise, like a schoolboy waiting on a kiss from his crush, and dig around pockets or medicine cabinets for surprise pharmacon or something to imbibe. I have the great misfortune of having to work both tomorrow and Tuesday, so you’re going to have to take everything I just wrote and double it so that you can party extra for me. That’s about all I have to say right now, so I’m off. Like a prom dress.

This is Sunday Mix Tape number 22. If you don’t remember the rules, they’re very simple: I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I’ll make a new mix for yer iPod’s and your kingklangs or whatever you kids use to listen to music these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. This week there is no theme, but I queued it all up in iTunes and it sounded very nice. I decided next week I’m going to try and “sell out” and use the songs I think will most likely generate a wealth of new readers. I’m such an egomaniac! These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.

**MP3’S WERE REMOVED ON 7/09/06. **
