REJOINDER

the e-mails continue to roll in from bands interested in the book concept. american analog set (who sent an awesome list of people and places in austin that i should contact/visit), beulah, and bedhead/the new year can officially be added to the [slowly] growing list of acts who think my cause worthy of their participation. basically what it means is: a) the drive down into the heart of texas in late july heat will be worthwhile, and b) i will not end in los angeles, but continue north to san francisco and probably up through oregon (where i’m still awaiting word from yume bitsu and dandy warhols) to seattle, where i’ll see some family and maybe take a day trip out to olympia (which is only like an hour away) if i ever get word back from someone at k records. then i’ll begin the race home to new jersey, probably conluding in the second half of august. so right now that makes 5, possibly 6 bands that are definitely down for help, one or two on the fence, an like 15 i haven’t heard back from.
