Oh, man. Last night was some next-level bonkers shit. Someday I’ll have the guts write the story in all its gory details, but for now you’re just going to have to believe me when I say that it was…a unique evening. That little stretch of Hyperion in Silver Lake where there’s a cluster of bars is going to forever bring back some interesting memories.
I’m also incredibly tired right now. So I’m going to quit with the vague-speak and get with the mix taping. Please enjoy.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. This week I’m focusing heavily (entirely?) on original motion picture soundtracks and scores. I hope you like that kind of thing, because I do and I want to highlight some cool compositions you might not be familiar with. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
