When your night begins with the words, “I’ll drive!” even though your invitation is to go out drinking, you *might* consider curbing your alcohol intake after that third drink. At the very least if you’re going to begin your night with “I’ll drive!” you should not mix as many different types of alcohol as I did last night. This is the lesson I’m learning (painfully!) today after being asked to join some friends for Korean BBQ (which included a large bottle of Hite, a bottle of soju and a bottle of cold sake) followed by a long night on the town. After the Hite, soju and sake came a shot of tequila, an old fashioned (really, Evan?), some beers, another shot of tequila, and whatever the nightly special was at The Association (which we hit twice last night). I guess it’s not a bad sign when you wake up to a bunch of text messages from new phone numbers you don’t remember obtaining, but that could be a good thing OR a bad thing.
But enough about my life. Let’s talk about yours.
Just kidding, I don’t care.
Here’s a mix tape!
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. No theme this week. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
