Hi kids. Happy Sunday. How was your weekend? Mine was good, thanks for asking. Last night I ventured out into The OC to hit up Pizza Port San Clemente with an old high school friend who is visiting the west coast this week. She was a bit tired after a long journey but she was a good enough trooper to hang for a few drinks and play an intense game of catch-up. Hopefully she’ll return to spend more time in LA in the future, otherwise it’ll be almost a year before we can hang out again.
After the OC I returned to my home base and proceeded to drink a bottle of bourbon with my neighbor. Things got pretty sloppy. Certain household items and appliances found their way out into the street in a mess of shattered glass and twisted metal. It was like a war zone when I walked outside to get in my car and drive to work this morning. My head still hurts.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. No theme tonight. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
