Hey. I’m back in Jersey after a tiring but immensely fun weekend in New York. In case you were wondering where I was, I was asked to play groomsman to a close friend at his wedding. My duties included (but were not limited to) getting really drunk, adding some levity to what might have been a whirlwind of activity, and generally being a good pal for the past however-many-months. And boy did I drink! And boy did I gorge myself! And, I think, I performed the more important “bro” duties well, too. I’ll write about all the little details and share some photos tomorrow. It’s late, I spent the better part of today drunk, and I want to crawl into bed soon. But first, how could I ever deprive you vultures of another blog entry! (Sorry about yesterday) Here’s your mix tape.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. Of course there’s a theme this week. What are you, blind? At least I have a sense of humor about it. Where else are you going to find a mix tape that combines legitimate love songs with Burmese, Brainbombs, and Ween!? The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
