I felt good enough to venture outside today. I figured 12 hours without vomiting was as good a sign as any that I’d cleared my biggest hurdle. Stupidly, I woke up and immediately tried to run 8 miles this morning. After one mile I thought I was going to die. I made it through 5 miles but then I had to quit. I guess laying in bed for 36 hours straight without eating left me without much energy. I walked home and showered. I went to Glendale with Nate and Ben. Then I came home. I was out of the house for four whole hours and I didn’t die! I even consumed my first meal in days. Who knows…by tomorrow I might be close to normal.
Tomorrow is another day. But tonight is Halloween. And because it’s already Midnight (November 1st) on the East Coast, now is as good a time as any to share a short little Halloween-inspired mix tape with you. Don’t ever say I have bad timing.
Don’t. Ever.
