League of Nations was a Los Angeles duo that was active for a year or two in the early ’80s. The combination of Laurie Jean (drums/programming) and David Sinfield (piano/synth/voice) recorded an untitled 12″ (four tracks) which was released on Taursus Records in 1982 (which, if you can track down an original, is worth a heft sum of money for it’s “minimal synth” collectibility) and a full-length album on Glaze Recordings that came out in 1984. The LP has been “reissued” a few times since then, and there’s a pretty good edition that was produced in 2008 that also includes the desired cuts from the untitled 12″.
