Sunday Mix Tape Number 255

Two mix tapes in one week? Why, you must be the luckiest children on all the Internet!

This should be a busy and exciting week, as I’ll be leaving in a few hours to cover the NAB Show in Vegas. If you don’t know what NAB is, well, you’re not alone. I didn’t really know what it was either until recently. The best way to describe it (according to the website) is a digital media industry event involving video, audio, film, broadcast and communications technologies. And somehow I have a pass that grants me access to the exhibition center, so I’ll be blogging about that this week. In the meantime I’ll try to steer clear of the pratfalls that sometimes ensnare me when I’m in Vegas. Like Canadian cheerleaders and massive amounts of alcohol. Those are two of my biggest weaknesses. Or at least they were the last time I was in town.

I leave for Vegas on Tuesday. If any of you reading this happen to be in town, contact me (via e-mail, Twitter, Facebook) and we can grab a drink. Or maybe I’ll profile you for the webste. And not in the racist way!

For the rest of you, here’s your Sunday mix tape.

RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. This week features…no, wait. There is no theme! The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
