And then, one Saturday night, our hero decided that he’d had enough partying and he went to bed for 12+ hours. So bad-ass! I feel a bit refreshed. It’s been a long week, and February was an even longer month. Way too much partying. March is going to be the turning point for me in 2012. Things are going to be different. I’m not going to blackout anymore. I’m not going to fuck off as much. It’s time to give my attention to projects and people that will provide productive and positive results.
You guys, I think if I really want these things I’m going to have to move. That’s not to say my current environment is a pernicious force dragging me in the wrong direction. It’s more like a black hole sucking the life out of me. Maybe those two ideas are really the same thing.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. No theme this week. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
