Sorry, Swan Fungus super-fan Bennett, you were saying something about the Packers? I couldn’t hear you over the sound of my Giants shredding your cheese-heads. Or was it the hush of the crowd at Lambeau. Oh well, whatever. It was one of those two things. You have to admit, the Giants played pretty solid football (except for the third quarter) and the secondary did a fine job of stopping the much-vaunted Green Bay receiving corps. It might have taken until the 4th quarter, but the defensive line picked up their game and applied enough pressure to keep Rodgers from making big throws. Next week, San Francisco: we should have beaten them in October…maybe we’ll get some more sweet revenge next weekend.

I would have posted this earlier but one of my roommates was blackout drunk when I returned home from work, and I had the bright idea to take him out for sushi even though he couldn’t stand up straight. So many belly laughs were had, so many “Hey, wake up!” moments whenever he nodded off, so many drunken mumbled “I hate you, you’re an asshole” comments towards me, and of course all the hilarious sauce and water spills. It was perfect. Next week I’ll try a little harder. I’ll be home early and I won’t get sidetracked by sushi.
