Sunday Mix Tape Number 232

Happy end of the week, kids! I want to finish this entry as quickly as possible so I can get a full night of sleep. Or…close to a full night of sleep. I was up at 6am to run yesterday (Saturday) and didn’t get to sleep until 4am this morning. Not bad considering it was the exact middle of my work-week. I was really shocked how productive I was today all things considered. I got a ton of work done, I barely stopped for lunch. I powered straight through until closing. Then I met a very nice young lady for dinner over in West Hollywood. Now I’m home and trying to figure out which of these 50,000 MP3s on my hard drive you haven’t heard yet. After 231 mix tapes it’s hard to keep track. Remember back when I promised I’d never repeat a song twice? If some enterprising reader can come up with an exact number of instances in which I went against my word I’ll give you fifty bucks.

No I won’t.

Enjoy this week’s mix…

RULES for uninitiated noobs: I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. Synth! Lots of fucking synth this week! The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
