Good times last night at the Whitehorse. Mark’s birthday party. I didn’t get nearly as intoxicated as Friday night, but I still managed to have a good time. It just goes to show, kids: you don’t need an excessive amount of alcohol to have a good time. Sure, it helps — and boy does it ever help — but you can’t always rely on it. You’re only supposed to rely on it when it’s really imperative that you do so. You know, like a crutch. A social crutch. You wouldn’t want to walk around in public on a bad ankle, would you? Well, I don’t want to walk around in public with a sound mind.
Another busy week lays ahead. I’m going to hear a speaker Wednesday with Ken and KT (I think, is that this week?), Nate’s birthday is this-coming weekend, softball season is underway again (I was 0-3 with a strikeout in my first week back, yikes), and of course there’s the job. Oh, job. You’re so weird. What’s your deal?
By the way, I feel really bad about this, but during the website outage last week and the ensuing upgrade to PHP5 and MySQL 5.0 all of my old posts were fucked with. Certain characters (mostly ‘ and ” and bullets) were replaced with gibberish characters (like ’ for example). So pretty much every post I’ve ever made now has a weird glitch to it. If I had time I’d go through all 2,000+ posts and fix them myself, but I can’t possibly fix them all myself. Oh well, it’ll just have to wait until my next Adderall binge.
