Gilroy Garlic Festival Recap: A Week In Photos

Before posting the photos I just want to share an e-mail I got from Ian’s little sister Amanda. She writes, “Ava Jean Perillo was born in May with a rare optical disease known as Anophthalmia (to be born without eyes). We are joining together to raise money to cover the cost of upcoming surgeries for this beautiful baby girl. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support Ava Perillo’s fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support — and don’t forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!”

If it wasn’t Ian’s sister I probably wouldn’t bother, but maybe one of you will read that and make a donation. If not, at least learn about the disease and become educated. I’m sure it’s more important than reading another blog post filled with poop jokes. By the way, I stepped in dog shit today. It totally sucked!

Now here are a series of pictures from Nicci’s camera which will hopefully guide you through our little five day vacation to northern CA. Please enjoy! Also, stop e-mailing me or commenting that I should do more posts like the last five. If you pay for me to travel to a cool place near where you live, and let me stay with you for free, I’ll do that. But I’m a broke piece of shit who can’t afford to travel and write out of my own pocket. That said, here are the photos!
