Hello babes. It’s been a long week, but the new mix tape is finally ready to be birthed into this uncertain world of ours. It will stimulate your aural cavities and bring you to climax. Unless, of course, you don’t like good music, in which case I strongly advice you point your browser to another website and never return here. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have something else to do. Probably.
The above picture was taken Tuesday afternoon when Fawn and I took some of her former students Christmas shopping at Target. As I stated before, she received over $900 in donations from many people and organizations, so each child was given $100 to buy gifts for siblings and guardians. They wrote the most incredible ‘Thank You’ notes, expressing sentiments like, “Thank you for donating money so me and my family can have the best Christmas ever,” and “This has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.” It fills my ordinarily cold, black heart with warmth just remembering how much fun I had with them.
RULES for uninitiated noobs: With 100MB of webspace, I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. There really isn’t a concrete theme this week, but I tried to pick tunes that flowed together nicely. I guess because there was a theme last week, and I’m starting to prepare for next week’s winter/Christmas mix, this week is theme-less. As always, these songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
