I’m exhausted. The nights are getting later and the days ahead are filled with arduous tasks that will demand my full attention. There’s no sense in sharing all the gory details. It’s quite inconsequential, really. You’re just hear for the music anyway.
RULES for the uninitiated noobs: With 100MB of webspace, I give birth to a weekly compilation for your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I’ll just throw songs at a wall (not literally) and see what sticks. This week is a genre-expanding voyage that will take you around the world. It opens with throat singing and closes with a Tibetan prayer. In between there’s some metal, some jazz, two calypso tracks, heartbreaking pop songs, acoustic noodling and psychedelic fried rock. Baby, it’ll blow your mind. Conversely, it might suck and not make any sense. I’ll let you decide. These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll support the artists and buy their albums.
