Ah, the return of the Sunday Mix Tape. I do believe this 2007 is going to be an interesting year. As of this week, I’m filing away everything I posted in ’06, and you won’t see anything by any of the artists I featured last year ever again. I’m going to force us all to listen to new things, which will probably send my visitor count right down the fucking tubes! But whatever – it’s the Internet – it’s not a popularity contest.
SUNDAY MIX TAPE RULES: For you noobs out there, I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I birth a new compilation for your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is pushing on you these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. This weeks I tried organizing the tracks in as confusing an order as my ability to click the randomize button would allow. To make matters worse, I even included a cringe-worthy Brit-Pop tune and some Depeche Mode. The alienation of my audience continues! These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.
