I’m tired. I took a shortcut this week while putting together this week’s Sunday “Mix Tape” number…44. For you “noobs” out there, here are the rules: I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I manifest a new compilation for your iPod’s and your Kingklangs or whatever you kids use to listen to music these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. This week I’m choosing to highlight the new Tom Waits compilation Orphans by including two tracks. Other than that, it’s pretty much a lazy trip through whatever is currently stored on hard drive. These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.
