– I’m going to see Fridge, Tarentel (!!!) and Mono tonight, so I’m uploading this week’s Mix Tape earlier than usual.
If you’re new to this routine, here’s the rules, see: I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I’ll make a new mix for yer iPod’s and your kingklangs or whatever you kids use to listen to music these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. This week there are a handful of artists that I would say are quite unusual compared to most of the current mainstream independent bands. I tried to sneak in recognizable names, in the hopes that those will draw people to download the rest of the tracks as well. Trust me, they’re all great. Also, this is the largest “tape” yet! 18 tracks and almost 90 minutes of music. These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.
