Last night was a pretty nice jam at Studio Evan Studios 1. The recording sounds awful so it makes no sense to share it, but there was actually a lot of good music being made. At one point Ian, Ilya and I were all playing guitar and Ken was drumming. While I held down a steady rhythm of “Bedhead guitar” (which is a style I’ve just now defined where one plays four pretty-sounding notes over and over for about 5 minutes) Ian tapped pedals and Ilya plucked and strummed two-string chords, and at one point it reached a really intense peak. This is all according to Ilya, I don’t remember it at all. Still, you shoulda been there, maaaaan (or womaaaan, if you’re a lady).
I just got some very bad news. I have to leave. Sorry.
