Today I woke up early and drove to Allentown with my old roommates from Sophomore year, Cara and Marie. They were going to see the final concert by the a cappella group Marie belonged to when she was matriculating, and I took the time to walk around and hang out with some friends who are still there. Went for coffee with Falynn and walked with my head down (hand hiding my face) past another person who will go unnamed. Then Marie and Cara had appointments with a seer, and finally we ate at Chicken Lounge. By that point my head wasn’t in the right place. It’s getting better, slowly. Sometimes you have to tie that loose baby tooth to the doorknob and slam the goddamn thing shut.
This is Sunday Mix Tape fourteen. If you don’t remember the rules, they’re very simple: I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I’ll make a new mix for yer iPod’s and your kingklangs or whatever you kids use to listen to music these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. Today there is absolutely no theme, which is should be abundantly clear by this selection of songs.
