This is going to be the last Mix Tape for a few weeks because, obviously, I will not be able to upload much of anything from Internet-less locations on the road. Since the majority of my trip will be in Chicago, this week is dedicated to Illinois (and one set of Wisconsin) artists. For those of you who only come here for the MP3s, I apologize for the soon-to-be lack of audio content.
I hope you’ll check back regularly for some of my fantastic travel writing, though. I hear it’s “pretty alright,” considering “the photographs all suck, they’re all taken from a moving car.”
If you don’t remember the rules, they’re very simple: I’ve got 100MB of webspace and every week I’ll make a new mix for yer iPod’s and your kingklangs or whatever you kids use to listen to music these days. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together. These songs will be removed if desired by the band or those who represent them. Let me know and I will gladly comply. The goal of this endeavor, as always, is to pique your interest in these artists so you’ll buy their albums.
